01/06/2007 From the desk of Robert Having known Dr Ly - Dermatologist in Maui Hawaii for a few years in the capacity a client receiving both adult general dermatology and cosmetic services, I offer the following comments: Dr ly possesses outstanding clinical skills that provided me a reason to recommend many of my local Maui friends and mainland traveling friends to her, and to identify her as my only dermatologist in Maui. Dr Ly ‘s genuine artistic cosmetic enhancement skills rewarded me with great facial enhancement that is so natural that my close friends thought I look 10 years younger immediately without the awkward down time, or the “artificial” look. When I checked the cost of cosmetic services Dr Ly recommended versus that of other physicians on Maui, I found her fees to be competitive and affordable. She really tries to work with me to improve my appearance in an appropriate time frame, and made it affordable to my budget. . Thank you Dr. Ly for having the kindness, empathy, compassion, clinical acumen, and the artistic skills that makes you the dermatologist for all reasons. I used to get my annual skin checks from my primary physician until I visited Dr Ly’s web site and learned that Board Certified Dermatologist are trained to detect skin cancer much better and much earlier. I read somewhere that in medical school, only 43% had ever examined a patient for skin cancer! So the training is not in general medicine, but rather with a specialist. The skin is the biggest organ, and it takes a specialist who is a board certified dermatologist to take good care of it. Dr. Ly is the natural choice. I have the privilege of calling her my dermatologist. I was very happy to write this short note as a token of my appreciation for the improvement I experienced with my skin conditions, and her skills to allow me to “age gracefully with a little fight”.
